Learning English is a long road, but it is just like anything else. Day by day, you start to get the hang of reading. Little by little, you start to understand people talking. And gradually, you start to have conversations with people.

I am a bit of a financial nut. I love to plan for the future and money is an unavoidable piece of that. But just like learning English, you have to do a little at a time. Going from nothing to success is very hard to do without a plan! So what should this plan be for, or more importantly, what is your dream goal in life? Having a Life Goal can really help you find your direction. Once you have a Life Goal, then you can really start to take action.

For starters, think of all the small tasks that will help you achieve your Life Goal. Take your time and think of as many as you can and write them down or save them on your computer in a list. Once you have a good list, start to prioritize them starting with the ones you need to complete first towards the top and ending with the ones that might require some time towards the bottom. You can always work on the items in your list simultaneously, but always remember, completing each task will get you closer to that Life Goal!

Of course, life is constantly changing, and so your plan will evolve with you. You should always be ready to welcome change as it is inevitable. Change can take on many forms, maybe it is time for a new car or you need to move to a new place. Your list of priorities will change and you might add new items to your list or remove ones that you completed (high five on those completed ones). No worries, change is perfectly normal, just make sure you update your priority list to match those changes!
